Another Good One By John Grisham

I just finished reading The Summons, by John Grisham. I really enjoyed this novel. It is the best I have read by Grisham since probably The Firm (though I have not read all of the ones in between). Aside from the storyline, and how well a book keeps my interest, the way I know is good novel is if when I finish it, I’m a little sad that I won’t be reading about the characters anymore.
Grisham put together a very good novel that was paced well, a mystery to solve, good suspense scattered here and there, and characters I enjoyed reading about. Being a Southerner, I also love novels set in the South in small towns.
Grisham’s books are what I consider “light-reading”, which is perfect for me right now since I generally only read 5 to 10 pages a day for enjoyment. I highly recommend this novel.
