I read The Breach, by Patrick Lee recently and liked it so well that I picked up the second book in this three book series (I assume it’s just a three book series), Ghost Country.  I gave The Breach five stars without hesitation, and before I bought Ghost Country, I read a few of the reviews and saw several that thought it was better than The Breach.  I found that hard to believe, and I was wrong.  This is not only a 5-star book, but it is probably in the top five best I’ve read this year.

This novel continues the story of Travis Chase, and from what I understand there is another one after this (which I will be reading soon).  This book is written as a stand-alone novel and can be read without first reading The Breach, but you would lose a lot, I think.  I can’t recommend this book highly enough, but do yourself a favor and read The Breach first.  Here’s the Amazon link for Ghost Country.
