Easy Prey

This is my first “Prey” novel in a long time. I have read all of the novels leading up to Easy Prey. I stopped reading this series a few years ago, and have hesitated starting up again with this novel due to its bad reviews.

I enjoyed the book. Mainly because it was nice to check back in on Lucas Davenport. He hasn’t changed. The “Prey” novels can be divided into two groups. Those that are very good and those that are so-so. This one falls into the latter. I enjoyed it, but it was not up to par with some of the previous novels.

I’ll be reading more from the series soon. If you’ve never read any of this series, I suggest you start with the first, Rules Of Prey, and work your way through. You can find out more by checking out John Sandford’s website HERE.
