GREYHOUND
Steffan Piper
Every once in a while you come across a book that will, at least in part, stay with you for the rest of your life. One example is To Kill A Mockingbird; another is Greyhound.
Greyhound is about a cross-country bus trip that a 12 year old boy takes alone after his mother sends him off to live with his grandparents. The novel is set in 1981. The boy is white and he meets and then shares the trip with a young black man just out of prison that is also traveling across country.
